CAC, National all breed show VDH in Dortmund, 12.10.2007

Since last year the VDH (German Kennel Klub) combines the biggest German show with several events. During 3 days the exhibition "Dog and Horse" is being held and additionaly at the same time there are 2 all breed shows on offer: An International CACIB show with day title "Bundessieger" and a national CAC show. The Terriers had their CAC show on Friday, the "Bundessieger" was judged on Sunday. On Friday the Terriers were located in "hall U8" that actually is a multi-storey car park! This was not very comfortable, quite cold and in some rings very dark. So additional spotlights had to be installed in some rings otherwise judges and ring personal could not see what they were doing. Actually I would not even like to park my car over there. We were lucky as in the Scottie ring ther was a bit more light. But not enough for good fotos. On the National show the Scotties were judged by Dan Ericsson from Sweden. The breed specialist is known for his famous "Raglan" Scottish Terriers around the world. Tina Deipenbrock worked as a judge student.
