Traditionally the last German CACIB show of the year is held in Kassel in December.

As the exhibition halls have many windows they are quite light and friendly. There is a lot of spare room for the exhibitors at the ringside and everything is nicely decorated as we already are close to Christmas. A real nice ambiance for a CACIB show.

Another special feature in Kassel is offered in the main ring: The best of breed youth dogs have their own competition for youth best in show. First they are judged according to the FCI groups. From the youth BIG's the best youth of the day is elected. This dog has to return the next day to compete for youth best in show. Just this dog gets the title "Youth Winner Kassel". In 2004 this succeeded our Sir Darnley's Orla Online Oasis - an absolute highlight!

The same procedure is done with the adult best of breeds. The best in show is "Winner Kassel".

Mr. Hans Grüttner judged the Scotties. His kennel "von der Emsmühle" is a famous Irish Terrier breeding in Europe.
