International dog show "Bundessieger" in Dortmund, 17.10.2009

Every year in October Germanys most important all breed show is held in Dortmund. The VDH offers the official title "Bundessieger" and at the same time this our national CRUFTS qualification show.

Since a few years the whole event is called "Horse and Hound" as there also is a horse exhibition at the same time. By this there are even more stectators around the dog rings now.

Mr. Juha Palosaari from Finland was invited to judge the Scotties. His kennel „Starring“ is standing for successful Fox- and West-Highland White Terrier. After judging was finished I had the possibility to talk to Mr. Palosaari. He was quite impressed by the high quality of Scotties shown to him. Even though he found that both junior classes (dog and bitch) extremely difficult to judge because these dogs were very different in type.
