Terrier Specialty OG Wesel, 22.11.2009

Entered Scotties: 10

Judge: Torsten Himmrich

The local Terrier group OG Wesel choosed an attractive venue for their annual Championship show. The hall is located on a small island in the old-arms of the river Rhein and surrounded by very nice landscape. Unfortunately at the day of the show there was a strong and cold wind. Otherwise we could have had a nice walk with the dogs.

Inside the hall it was warm and comfortable and the rings were nicely prepared. Just the floor was quite slippery but as far as I could saw this caused more problems for the handlers than for their dogs.

Our judge was Mr. Torsten Himmrich, who formerly bred Scottish Terrier himself in his kennel "Fellow's". One of his foundation bitches was Ch. Downtown Ginger, who was World Winner and BOB in Dortmund 1991. Today in the German Terrier Club (KFT) Mr. Himmrich is the judge representative and member of the comitee.

In competition for the Best of Breed, Rainer Schnock for the first time had to show his Sir Darnley's Talisker Taste in the ring.
And they did it: Tasty went BOB!

Congratulations from all sides. Of course Rainer is proud - and I am as well!

In the main ring later on Sir Darnley's Talisker Taste also gained

Best Junior in Show (Judge: Elizabeth Chwalibog, PL)

and

Best in KFT Group 3 (Judge: Eva Vogel)
