Sir Darnley's P, 1st. week

Sir Darnley's "P" - 1st. week
Quite early Nellie settles in the whelping box and shows that she will not go the whole distance of 63 days.
And here they are! On 20.04.2005 Nellie gets her P-pair! The Sir Darnley's 5th. generation! As always, the puppies are bred on English lines without American and wheaten influence.

Like Pat and Patachon. Left the firstborn boy with 190 gr. Right the girl with 260 gr!	"Pickeschwarz" (means "jet black") Helma van Wieringen would say.
	22.04.2005 2 days later the two already look boucing.
	After all there is alot of milk for two puppies. We already have to take care that they don't get to much. So Nellie's food should not be too rich either.
	The girl is snuggeling against her sleeping mother. This litter feels comfortable with a temperature of app. 26°C in the whelping box - poor Nellie.
25.04.2005 Nellie still nearly all the time is staying with her puppies in the whelping box. But she does not really feel responsable for their digestion. Anyhow sometimes she is licking their heads but Nellie prefer to keep away from the back end. It always trinkles when you push it - uuuh ;-)
26.04.2005 But the puppies don't mind - as long as I take care of a digestive massage regularly, armed with a kitchen roll.
During the whelping box is cleaned, the puppies are staying in a small box prepared with a heating pad.
