|
Sir Darnley's Mylord Mortimer
Sir Darnley's Magical Mascot
Today smart fellow Magical Mascot is living with Marianne Roos-Otten in the kennel Gulabins (NL).
Mayson Montgomery, is both: peppy and calm. He is now living with family Horn and follows Sir Darnley's Chimney Sweeper.
... and Mylord Mortimer - what a
temperament and alway happy and friendly! Here he suspects nothing yet.
Also he find his new home in the Netherlands, with Helma van Wieringen and Rolf Konrad. Dog show? Noooo, we don't want to show him! |
|
Months later: Well couldn't we show him just one time, just for fun? We would have liked to know how a judge would think about Mortimer. Hes has developed nicely - hasn't he? Yes he has! By accident, soon there is a show not far from here: OG Bad Aachen, Judge: Gitti Schwab (Kennel von der Wickerenger Hiel from Luxemburg). Result: Best of breed! |
|
Of course, now we will continue!
Easily Mortimer gets his KFT youth champion title. In Velbert he even went best in show out of youth class! Judge: Eva Vogel (of White + Black) and Irmgard Vogt |
|
Okay, lets start into the open class!
Please don't expect too much, now he has to be compared with adult dogs.
And he is only 15 months old.
First Start in Mannheim-Ludwigshafen. Result: Best of breed and best low legged Terrier!!! Judges: Magret Möller-Sieber and Torsten Himmrich (Fellows) |
|
Shortly after this Mortimer also went
best in show in in Hellenthal, in the wonderful Eifel!!!
Judge: Michael Sosne (USA) and Irmgard Vogt . Mr. Sosne said to me: He is a wonderful dog, keep him happy! We will do that! On this way I would like to thank Helma and Rolf for their enthusiasm which was also a new motivation for me! |
|
September 2003: Sir Darnley's Magical Mascot for a while returnes from the Gulabin's to his parents house to be shown.
And we don't have to wait long for the first success: For the first time out Magic went best of breed and best low legged Terrier!
And now the 2 brothers takes turns in
winning:
In Ratingen Magic went best of breed under judge Rainer Jacobs. Shortly afterwards Magic was able to repeat theis success in Gent (B) under judge Mr. Bill Browne-Cole (GB). |
|
In Mönchengladbach the judges Ilse Freerksen and Otto Krcal (A) select Mortimer for best of breed - and for the 3rd. time he also is best in show!

And Magic once again:
In Antwerpen (B) he went best of breed and Brabo Winner '04 under judge Judith Averis (GB) |
|
On the international show in Lingen it is Mortimer who impresses judge Frauke Korte who selects him for best of breed.
On the 01st. of May the "outside
show season" traditionally starts in
Mannheim-Ludwigshafen.
Here Magic is picked for best of breed by judge Walter Berghäuser. Best opposite sex is half-sister Sir Darnley's Nosy Nellie. Just one week later Magic wins the big open class in Dortmund and get's Vice-European-Winner, just beaten by Ch. So What Excalibur. |
