Ups, there is a visitor! In an unobserved moment the babies sister Nellie risks a view into the whelping box !
Already during the last days Nellie came with us into the living room upstairs. She just ignored her mothers growling and in the end Kylie accepted her in the room. Finally she managed to have a look after her later playmates.
In the meantime Nellie lays in front of the box, her head on the small step, waiting for her next chance.
Today the small girls are 3 weeks old. I cannot remember a precocious litter like this. All puppies are already walking around and they want to research the world outside the whelping box!
...of course, girls are always quicker!
Oh, this is how it looks outside our whelping box. This is exiting!
... and after the first trip you should take a nice meal.
Of course now they always want to go out. This time also Nellie is there. She loves her little sisters but of course she is always critically observed by mom Kylie.
Today is very exiting! As the girls are that precocious they already move from the living room to the "puppy room" (which is next to it) at the age of 3 1/2 weeks.
Of course also Nellie is here and takes her chance to check the empty whelping box.

"Millimillimilli" is the magic word which today the puppies have heard for the first time.
All together in the small basket where earlier litters already have left their signs.
Nellie would love to play the game "run after eachother" but of course this is too early. So she rolls on her back to play with the puppies.
Attack from behind!
Well, this basket will be too small very soon.
Just 4 weeks old and already an upright ear!
In the meantime there are no left overs from the puppy milk. So alternatively Nellie starts to clean her sisters beards.
Now the puppies can already play in the living room.
... and as several litters before, they also love the pillow next to the sofa to take a rest.
Today the smallest girl weighs 1012 gr.
The biggest one weighs 1147 gr.
Only 135 gr. difference! This is a very well-balanced litter.
... her sisters are playing and of course she doesn't want to be missed.

Kylie now better nurses her puppies while standing. Their teeth are quite powerful already. Nellie is watching very interested.
