September 1994 Holidays in Henne Strand, Ærenprisvej |
|
This is "our" domicile for this year. This house without a name is nicely placed in the sandunes but nearly a little bit too big.
On the way to the beach:
Darnley has to roll through the sand! This look - the total vitality! |
|
Busy is posing herself in the sandunes
This is my favorite picture!
Again Kirsten Toftkjær visited us, this time she brought her Ch. Scotsmans Toby. In this lovely evening mood we took a walk to the beach. The North Sea was still smooth. Back in our house we were talking the whole night. |

And Gretna is always running and surching for seagulls that she could hunt. But these seagulls have a big advantage: they have wings! |
|
A car full of Scotties! Unfortunately holidays always elapse much quicker than the rest of the year! |
|
... but before we leave we
have to say good bye to the North Sea!
Darnley already knows that we will drive home. He rolls ... |
|
... and rolls with pleasure in the sand
Well - this was nice!
It is very stormy today! |
|
Here comes Gretna,
cautionary I have called her because she likes to go into the deeper water.
It is too dangerous with this rough sea.
Then we start our way home. When we reach the area where we can hear German radio, we hear the message that a ferry was foundering in the Baltic Sea: the Estonia! It is the first live report about a catastrophe that I can remember. It accompanied us the whole way home. |
