We are working hard to finish the organisation of our Terrier Show in Neuss on 14.05.06. We are really happy about the entry of 200 Terriers including Westie- and Norfolk Special.

Shirley was a show girl and a great character at the same time. She was a real beauty with endless charme. Dear Bärbel, I will always be deeply grateful for this great personality! In the ring she always showed with lots of drive. She won many titles and altogether went 10 x best in show. Shirley's most remarkable successes: Best Terrier and Best in Show CACIB Namur (B) 1987. There she was just 15 months of age.. In Bern (CH) 1994 at the age of already 8 years and after having 4 litters Shirley gained the World Winner and also went best of breed. The record of 111 entered Scotties were judged by Mr. James Reynolds (CAN). Together with her "husband" Darnley - Multi Ch. Alex von der Leinemasch - Shirley based the mother line of my breeding. Both are behind all Sir Darnley's Scottish Terriers. She has left "best in show winners" in
each generation of her offspring. Shirley lived with us more than 14 years. |

and in the meantime her brother already moved to his new family.

| These days there are a lot
of news from Sir Darnley's offspring in different kennels.
This time there are some acutal pictures that shows the development of the two puppies from Ch. Sir Darnley's Native Nugget "Esprit" in kennel "From Dash Mountain Farm's" in the Netherlands. The puppies by Ch. Raglan Roslin Williams are now nearly 4 months of age. In the meantime they got their full names: "From Dash Mountain Farm's Look At Me" is the boy, he is called "Lewis". "From Dash Mountain Farm's Look Again" is the girl who is called "Lynn". Both will stay with their breeder Gerda van Stuivenberg. Next week we will report from Ch. Sir Darnley's Noble Nicolson's offspring at "von der Westerweide" and "Beinn Breagh's" . |

What we have not archieved 2005: Holidays in well beloved "Henne Strand" in Denmark! But instead of us Sir Darnley's Limelight Laura and her friend Daphne were there together with their owner. More wonderful pictures will follow soon. |

Already at the end of December we visited the litter from Nick and Dark Angel's Deborah at their breeders home. The puppies were nearly 4 weeks of age and all were developed nicely. our "L"
litter visited us. They are now 7 years of age.
Sir Darnley's Liquorice Leroy (Owner: Gaby Matheisen) lives together with our Sir Darnley's Olivia Offbeat Obsession. Sir Darnley's Limelight Laura (Owner: Nicole Meissner) also has another Scottie in the family. She lives together with the wheaten Daphne from kennel "of Salt and Pepper". Both are located not far from us. |

Two "Sir Darnley's" best of breed at the same day!

Multi Ch. Sir Darnley's Magical Mascot
Magic is now back home at the Gulabin's Scotties and his owner Marianne Roos-Otten (NL). Together they have their first entry on the International dog show in Zwolle (NL). Magic wins CAC, CACIB and best of breed. By this Magic completes the Dutch Champion, already his 9th. title in 2005! Congratulations to both and well done!!!
Also a big THANK YOU to Marianne Roos-Otten for her great confidence. We have had such a lovely time with Magic and we are very glad to hear that he settles easily! We will keep in contact of course! |

For more than 6 months Mortimer had let his litterbrother Magic to go first. In Leuven he came back into the ring most successfully. Mortimer wins the CACIB and also best of breed. So we celebrate another International Champion. In the main ring Mortimer really get going : He gaines best Terrier and even Res. best dog of the day! Together with his owners Helma van Wieringen and Rolf Conrads we are exceptionally proud of Mortimer and his successful comeback! |

Additionally he went 9 x BOB (incl. Scottie Special) and gained many more international titles. | Yesterday we have reached the
harrowing and very sad message that Nellie Holland suddenly
passed away on 30.09.2005.
Already 1976 she was the founder of the organisation "Scottish Terrier Emergency Care Sceme" in the UK. Her engagement for poor Scotties was unfailing. Her successful "Noonsun" Scottish Terrier are represented in many pedigrees all over the world. Ahead all: Ch. Noonsun Sorcerer. In Nellie Holland the Scottie world looses a great and kind-hearted personality. One of the best I was allowed to know. She will never be forgotten! |
